 SOQL Studio v2025.2 Build 311 Maintenance Release

A new maintenance release of SOQL Studio, version 2025.2.311, is now available. This update contains important enhancements, security updates and bug fixes:

Enhancements

  • Enabled automatic back-leveling of Username/Password connections to API v64 for the API Login() call
  • Enabled specification of My Domain URL for OAuth connections
  • Added the display of additional schema information for Custom Metadata field type MetedataRelationship
  • Updated the Language Server with edits unique to custom metadata types.
  • Decoupled QAT customizations saving from the Save Appearance on Exit setting. QAT settings will be saved regardless of the value of Save Appearance on Exit
  • Upgraded to Winter '26 (API v65)

Security Updates

  • Updated how Salesforce pages are requested by the "View in Salesforce" commands from the Organization schema browser so that Session Id is no longer passed as a URL parameter
  • Enabled use of customer created External Client App when connecting to an org using OAuth

Bug Fixes

  • Updated the SOQL Language Server to correctly edit for duplicate field name/alias in a grouped query
  • Corrected an issue where Language Server didn't correctly detect that includes/excludes was used on a non-multiselect picklist field when that was not the first conditional statement in the WHERE clause
  • Corrected an issue where, under certain circumstances, the Language Server didn't correctly process child object specifications in the from clause
  • Corrected an issue with visible error message count when Info messages are set to not display
  • Corrected the display of custom platform event objects to be listed under Non-Queryable Objects when Categorization and Grouping is enabled. Namespaced custom platform events will still be listed under their respective namespace
  • Corrected an issue where the Language Server didn't process the UserOrGroupId polymorphic relationship field on the GroupMember object the same way Salesforce does
  • Improved the Language Server's processing of a query that includes a FIELDS() function in addition to an aggregate or field function in the select list
