A new major release of SOQL Studio, version 2025.1, is now available. This update contains significant enhancements and several bug fixes:

Enhancements

• Implemented real-time, as-you-type syntax checking
  • Syntax errors appear underlined in the SOQL document with red squiggles
  • Each error appears in the Messages tool window as a Warning with a description and location in the SOQL document
  • Double clicking a syntax error in the Message tool windows positions the cursor on that error location in the SOQL document
• Added syntax highlighting for Time literals
• Updated syntax highlighting colors in both light and dark mode
• Upgraded to Winter '25 (API v62)
• Added a "Release Notes" button to the View menu which opens the release notes in the default browser

Bug Fixes

• Corrected an issue where an empty Time field could cause the application to terminate unexpectedly while rendering
• Updated syntax highlighting of DateTime literals
• Fixed an issue that generated an "Object reference not set to instance of object" error when using the Fields() function and child query
