It'd be great if there could be an option that the F5 shortcut could work similar to SQL Server Management Studio where, if you have SQL highlighted, it executes just the selected SQL. I realize I can click the Execute button and choose Execute Selection but I prefer to use keyboard shortcuts.

We could add a different keyboard shortcut, like CTRL+F5, or a totally different key, like F6. Would that work?

SOQL Studio 2021.2, released yesterday, implemented CTRL-F5 as a keyboard shortcut for the Execute Selection command.
