 Error Launching SOQL Studio

I downloaded a trial of SOQL Studio and installed it. When I launch it, I see the splash screen followed by a message box with the message "An exception has been thrown by the target of invocation," and then it shuts down.

Any suggestions on what might be wrong?

Hi Jeff,

We haven't seen this error before.  Are there any messages in the Application Event log related to the error that you can email to our support box?  Do you get this every time you start the app?  Also, please include your OS version and installed .Net Framework version.

This issue was resolved with the release of SOQL Studio 2018.2.271 on 1/14/2019
