I add items to the QAT and they work great until I close the app. Upon re-open the additions are gone. Other settings are persistant, just QAT is getting lost.

I am very open to being an idiot, but I am out of ideas.

I've tried to recreate the issue using the three most current versions of SOQL Studio, but everything worked correctly for me.  I see that you recently downloaded the latest version.  I wonder if something got corrupted in the user.config.  If an error did occur, there may be a record of it in the application error logs.  You can find them in the Logs subfolder within the installation folder, typically found at C:\Users\<windows user id>\AppData\Roaming\Visual Software Systems LLC\SOQL Studio. If you find anything, email them to support so we can review them.

Often though, when the user.config gets corrupted, the way to resolve it is to rename the existing user.config file, which should be located in the C:\Users\<windows user id>\AppData\Local\Visual_Software_Systems,_\SOQLStudio.exe_Url_<random characters>\2025.1.308.25050 and starting SOQL Studio.  This will create a new user.config with application default settings.  Update the QAT, close down, and restart to see if your QAT changes were saved. If they were, then you should be all set once you reapply your settings customizations and recreate your org definition(s).  If not, you can delete the new user.config and rename the old one back.

I will try your idea out. I should say for the benefit of others, since this is a financial services company, we place major controls on desktops, firewalls, permissions, etc. so this is also likely causing trouble.
